ABOUT KELLIE

A coach in your corner, starting exactly where you are.

A woman with long dark hair, smiling, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and sunglasses on her head, sitting with her arm on a surface, facing forward.

I’m Kellie Daniel, a holistic health and wellness coach, personal trainer, educator, business owner, wife, and mom.

I hold a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. I'm also a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, trained in how people move through change and what helps it last. My career has taken me through fitness, nonprofit leadership, business ownership in health care, and post-secondary education.

My passion has always been the same: helping people recognize what they’re capable of, feel supported as they grow, and find a realistic way forward.

MY PATH HERE

A woman smiling and taking a selfie on a wooded trail with lush green trees and sunlight filtering through the leaves.

I started my career in health and fitness, working as a personal trainer and helping people build strength, confidence, and a better understanding of their bodies.

From there, my career expanded into nonprofit leadership, post-secondary education, health care, and business. I spent more than a decade teaching adults, later coordinating a graduate Health Care Administration program, and my husband and I built JD Physiotherapy into a multi-location practice.

The settings changed, but the part I loved most never did:

meeting people where they are and helping them move forward.

That is what brought me back to coaching.

COACHING THAT FITS YOU

I don’t believe you should have to fit yourself into someone else’s version of wellness.

We start with your health, your goals, your schedule, your responsibilities, your resources, and the life you’re living today.

If you want to understand the science and the why, I’ll teach it. If you’d rather skip the theory and focus on what to do next, we can do that too.

You lead the way. I adapt the coaching to you.

The life behind the work

Health, fitness, and wellness are a big part of who I am, but they’re only part of the picture.

I love to travel — to meet new people, experience different cultures, and try new adventures. Over the years, travel has reinforced something I believe deeply about wellness: there is no single right way to live well.

Family is another huge part of my life. My husband and I own a physiotherapy practice and are raising three teenagers, so our days are rarely quiet. Between singing, basketball, work, school, travel, and everything in between, there is usually somewhere to be and something to do.

And I genuinely love that part of life. Some of my favourite memories have come from being on tour with my daughter, in gyms at basketball games watching my sons, and connecting with people along the way. My family keeps me busy, connected, and grounded.

That’s a big part of why I care so much about helping people make wellness work within real schedules, real families, and real life.

A PARTICULAR PASSION

Women in midlife

What worked before may not be what works best now.

I’m navigating perimenopause myself, so I understand firsthand that this stage of life can change how we feel in our bodies, how much energy we have, how we recover, and what we need from our health and wellness routines.

And all of that is often happening during an already full season of life — careers, teenagers, aging parents, relationships, households, and the mental load that comes with keeping everything moving.

That’s why supporting women in midlife is an area I care deeply about.

My focus is on helping you build strength, nourish your body effectively as it is changing, create sustainable routines, and find practical ways to support your health in the life you’re living now.

When clinical care is needed, I believe strongly in working alongside qualified healthcare professionals.

My role is to help you take the recommendations, goals, and changes you want to make and answer the question:

How do I make this work for me now?
